About K-Solar Calculator
The K-Solar Proposal generator is a proprietary tool developed by our in-house experts to allow you to determine your system requirements quickly. Integrated with KE’s consumer database, the proposal generator analyzes your annual bill, tariff category and costs to determine your actual electricity demand. The proposal generator calculates the estimated size of your solar system, ROI and payback and provides you with a tentative proposal on behalf of K-Solar.
The numbers provided by the Proposal Generator, while fairly accurate, are subject to change following K-Solar’s site survey and detailed design. The purpose of the proposal generator is to provide estimated financial and technical parameters that allow you to make an informed decision regarding whether or not to go solar.
The customer needs to provide the following.
- KE consumer/contract number
- Contact Information
- Structure Type
- Financing Type
K-Solar proposal generator will calculate how much solar PV you need to offset your current consumption.
For general estimate 1kW needs 100sq. feet’s and 80 sq. feet for roof mount and elevated structure respectively.
You can calculate your monthly solar generation by the estimated formula [System Size (kW) x Sun Hours (4.6) x Month Days (30)]
K-Solar is officially a subsidiary of K-Electric, K-solar will keep all your data strictly confidential. K-Solar Proposal generator needs your contact number to send the verification code before sending a proposal.
Carbon footprint can be defined as the amount of carbon dioxide emissions caused by an individual, family, or organization.
The "Carbon Offset" number in the K-Solar Calculator application is the estimated reduction in Carbon Footprint. It is the number of kilograms of carbon dioxide that your family will save if you install solar panels.
Energy mix is the amount of energy you consumed whole day, after installing Solar system on your premises you energy mix graph will be like the image attached below. For day time you will be utilizing solar system
You can modify:
- Solar panel type
- Annual energy units
- Solar panel structure
Efficiency Factor is defined as the ratio between the energy generated from the PV system and the incident solar radiation. For the most realistic results when configuring your installation, please keep the efficiency factor at 19% for a well-designed and maintained (cleaned regularly) PV system.
The minimum system K-Solar offers is 10kW.
